Are things any better in Canada than the U. S. ?
I am serious does anyone know if things such as the economy, housing market(meaning number of foreclosures being less than here), etc is any better in Canada? I know their money is worth more b/c where I live that is a big deal being the western part of NY state and all, but I haven't heard about other aspects of their economy. I am just curious b/c I am so fet up with this crappy mess we're in and honestly until we get a new President and even then it still may not getting any better. I know a diff. pres doesn't insure things will get better and I have been considering moving there AFTER being done with college, but the way things are going I may do it sooner.

- I don't think so, every time I go to Miami, Fort Lauderdale or a cruise, it looks like half of Canada is down here. If it were so great up there, you would think they would stay there on vacation. H for H, way to go, you summed it up quite nicely!
- Just move there and write back to let us know. Oh and get a grip, a different president does not insure things will get better in the USA
- are you serious?? it sounds to me like you are seriously considering betraying your home country for canada??!! when the going gets tough i guess the easy thing to do would be to go and live in canada right? you can live 10 miles from our border and leech off the u.s. economy with the other canadians.....you can spend your time with a holier than thou attitude about americans as you put on your levis and get into your ford to drive it somewhere lame. become a hockey fan and eat some bacon......have fun in canada.....
- Canada has not had a deficit in over a decade. Most of the country is enjoying the lowest unemployment rate ever,Unless you are a employer. It`s was booming here for years ,but things are slowing down.Any time the US goes into a recession we feel it in Canada and so does the rest of the world.
- IF YOU DO NOT LIKE IT HERE MOVE. but kep ion mind don't sick in Canada it can take years before you see a doctor. No wait Canada is too good for a trader like you. Maybe you should move to some place like Cuba or France.
- It has been discovered Hillary Clinton will put tracking devices under our skin. This is is the bible before the world falls apart! pass it on
- you ever hear of the "Brain drain" we americans get all your smart candians and all the other smart people from all over the world and we americans pay them more money then they would ever get paid living in canada or wherever they are from. that means america has better quality doctors and better scientists, engineers, and more and we have all the best people from all over the world because they make more money living in america, that means crappy doctors in canada who get paid less b/c they live in canada and that is why canada has 'free stuff" "Every day, in countries all over the world, people leave their home countries in search of a better life for themselves and their families. Or just ask any resident of Toronto, Canada where they go for healthcare when it's important. It's not downtown Toronto, but Buffalo, NY, USA. also canada's GNI per capita rivals that of many european countries but is still not quite equal to that of the united states. canada lives in the shadow of the globally mighty united states. canadians enjoy many of the benefits of affluence and national security because of their close integration with the american economy and defenses. nonetheless, the positive aspects of the juxtapostion of the two countries ,the shared media and trade, the political cooperation, and the genreally friendly attitiudes the residents of the two countries have toward one antoher outweigh any negative attitudes or friction emanating from either country
