Are waterfront cabins on small fishing lakes in BC., Canada, a good investment for 2008?

1. almost all real estate become a good investment when you can buy at half price. I know in Canada there are places build that will never be seen by more than ten people
2. If it is not accessable year round I would not think so. I am from California and can not imagine people living where it is that cold!
